RFK Courtyard A Stone Restoration
Project Description: For this design-build project, SEG’s engineers surveyed the limestone and granite in the courtyard and on the building façade (from grade to the roof eave, including the corner pediment), fountain base, moat wall, benches, pavers and steps to determine the source of damage. A written assessment was provided including recommendations for repairs. Upon GSA’s approval, SEG’s stone crew performed cleaning, repointing, patching and stone replacement where necessary.
