DEA Mass Transit Task Force Tenant Build-out

Project Description: Due to increased security demands at Dulles Airport, the task force unit had expanded to 12 personnel and two canine units., rendering their existing space too small. New space within the main terminal was identified. Programming requirements included a Group Supervisor’s office, interview room, IT equipment room, storage space, housing space for two canine units and an open bay for agent workstations, all of which had to be designed to meet both the government’s general specifications and code requirments and the DEA’s additional, stringent requirements for safety and security.Scope of work included A/E design (including progress and final drawing submissions and as-builts) and complete build-out of interiors including MEP and security systems.
