Rehabilitate Little Round Top Visitor Use Area
Project Description: SEG successfully completed the Little Round Top Visitor Use Area Rehabilitation at Gettysburg National Military Park, working with the National Park Service to stabilize, restore, and enhance this historic landmark in alignment with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards. Spanning 50 acres, the project involved extensive demolition, historic preservation, and accessibility improvements. Key tasks included salvaging stone stairs, reconstructing historic rock walls, installing a 250-foot ADA-compliant ramp, and resurfacing 19 roads with 14,200 tons of asphalt. SEG expertly balanced modern accessibility with historical integrity, preserving the site for future generations and enhancing visitor experience and safety.
