BEP Tour Bridge Modernization
Project Description: SEG was awarded the Tour Bridge Modernization project as the prime contractor and provided design, construction management and inspection services for the renovation of the 300LF bridge axillary spaces. The tour bridge was required to be open to the public during Phase I of the construction and the building was fully occupied during the construction for both Phase I and Phase II. The Phase I scope included demolishing approximately 1,600 SF of existing conference room, storage and corridor space and constructing a new security check point. The security room was surrounded with Level 8 bullet-proof and blast resistant curtain walls. New ceiling tiles and new terrazzo floors were installed to match existing.
