Danmei Gui, PE
President and Founder
As founder and president, Danmei is responsible for setting the vision, strategy, operation structure of the entire organization, and oversees all aspects of SEG’s construction, engineering and financial operations.
Danmei is a license Structural Engineer with over 30 years of experiences. She has led designs of numerous complex structures throughout her engineering career. Her innovative designs have been recognized among the customers and peers.
She is also an entrepreneur and founder of SEG, Inc. Started with single employee in the home basement in 2005, she has led SEG’s business growth from structural engineering service to design-build, general construction and structural repair services. In past 15 years, Danmei has been focusing on corporate operation, business development and client relationships.
Danmei is a member of American Concrete Institute, Society of American Military Engineers, Design-Build Institute of America, as well as BB & T Dulles Board Advisory.
Vice President of Engineering, Kaichen is responsible for leading, managing and mentoring a team of engineers in the planning and overall construction of all structural engineer work to ensure standards are maintained and exceeded.
Kaichen Zhang PE, SE is a Professional Engineer and Structural Engineer with over three decades of structural engineering experience. His expertise range from specialization in post−tension and pre−stressed concrete construction to all types of complex framing systems. Mr. Zhang has been an integral leader with SEG for over 14 years and a Structural Engineer for over 30 years. He is meticulous and efficient, ensuring each project gets completed above and beyond the project owners’ standards, on-time and on-budget. His portfolio includes leading the structural designs of new buildings, existing building renovations and alterations in Federal, Regional, and Municipal facilities.
Kaichen Zhang, PE, SE

Vice President of Construction, Mr. Dinkins is responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the Construction Management team of Project Managers, Superintendents and Laborers. Todd oversees the financial well-being of projects and works closely with the management team and clients to ensure building schedules are met with on-time deliveries.
Mr. Dinkins has over twenty-five years experience in the industry and the last seven years as a Class A Contractor in Virginia and a VP of Construction. His unique ability to leading/directing and problem solving is invaluable when managing; design-build operations, project management, establishing initial project schedules, cost estimating, scope development, contract and cost analysis, safety plan administration and daily field management.
As a Design-Build Contractor, Todd directs, coordinates and controls all aspects of the design process including; scheduling, progress reviews and budget, and document flow. Post design, Mr. Dinkins helps transition the project to the on-site job staff to ensure the project is built effectively and efficiently, including being completed on time and within budget.
