OCIO 4th Floor Renovation

Project Description: This phased, design-build project involved the renovation and alteration of office space in the Theodore Roosevelt Building for the Office of Personnel Management, specifically the Office of the Chief Information Officer. Work included complete demolition, asbestos abatement, new partition walls, MEP (including testing and balancing), sprinklers and  fire/life/safety features, lighting, flooring, ceiling tiles and grid, security, millwork, interior finishes and workstation installations. Design included comprehensive fire protection system drawings and coordination with the systems furniture provider. 

 

To minimize disruption to OPM – OCIO staff productivity, the 31,000 SF project was broken out into five phases, with much of the work occurring between 6pm and 6am or on weekends.
