Danmei Gui, PE - Principal

Danmei is the founder of the Structural Engineering Group and has over a decade of experience in the management and operations of structural engineering firms. She is known for her ability to capture an architect’s vision for a project and develop a creative and constructible structural solution that reinforces that vision. Her work includes multiple notable architectural projects including Guthrie Theater, Gerald Ratner Athletic Center, and the Kennedy Center Eisenhower Theater renovation.

Kaichen Zhang, PE, SE - Principal

Kaichen maintains the elite qualification of being a Structural Engineer (SE), as well as a Professional Engineer. His focus on creative solutions has led to his extensive knowledge in a multitude of structural systems including post tension design and pre-stressed concrete. This expertise has been leveraged on a multitude of notable projects including Independence Stadium, Hard Rock Casino, VW Headquarters, Federal Office Building 8, and the Prince George’s African American Museum and Cultural Center.
